Summary: An easy hike through the towering walls of red sandstone with interesting rock configurations. We walked from north to south but the opposite would be easier. This is a point to point hike with ample parking at both ends. Although we took turns with walking/driving, it is interesting enough to make the hike an out and back. The huge walls were amazing as well as the towers. Trailhead: Arches NP is 5 miles north of Moab on highway 191. Maps and brochures are available at the park entrance. Park Avenue is well signed and just two miles into the park.
