Summary: This hike starts out on a paved trail through Approximately .5 mi of pristine Iowa Prarie, with a steel bridge crossing the Lion Creek. This portion of the hike is fully wheel chair accessable, with remote, small intimate picknic areas. This will bring you to Morris Park and its only access point. From here the trail is narrow and winds thorugh some interesting Hard Woods following the stream bed. About .3 mi into this park a Geocache is located if your interested in stopping. Otherwise the trail continues on for approximately .5 mi. more. Trailhead: Off street parking is available near the intersection of S. 12th Street and Fairway Dr. on the west edge of Marshalltown, Ia.
