Summary: This is a perfect spot for a very easy family hike. The trail is perfectly level and the views are wonderful. The shoreline has numerous rocky outcroppings that the more adventurous can wander out on for some solitude. I also enjoyed looking that the spectacular homes that are adjacent to the inland side of the path. Sunset is the optimum time for this hike as there are a number of benches along the trail where you a relax and enjoy natures wonders. Trailhead: From the Bar Harbor Inn pier, follow the path behind the hotel to the well marked start of the shore path.
