Summary: From the campground follow Cooper Road Trail .9 mi to Little Bottoms Trail.Turn right on this narrow, rocky path.3.2 mi turn left on Hatcher Mtn Trail.This trail is easy and a pleasant change from the trail you just traversed.6 mi you will intersect with Beard Cane Trail & Cooper Road Trail.Turn left on Cooper Road Trail and descend for 1.7 mi to intersect with Cane Creek Trail.Continue on Cooper Road Trail by turning left again, at 8.5 you'll come to the Goldmine Trail that leads to the Top of the World Estates. Continue on Cooper Road Trail to finish loop at the campground. Trails highlighted in yellow on the map should be hiked if you're trying to hike all 900 miles in the park as well as a 3/10 of Cooper Road Trail near Hatcher Mtn Trail that leads to Abrams Falls Trail. Trailhead: From Maryville: Take Hwy 321 to Montvale to Happy Valley Road and follow signs toward Abrams Creek Campground. Park just beyond ranger's station and walk .4 mi to back of campground. Optional backpack you could setup a basecamp at campsite 1 and combine Abrams Creek Loop 2 for a second day.
