Summary: A nice hike through rhodedendrum, along a creek with blueberries, then back along the road to the parking area. Trailhead: From Wilkes Barre take 115 S past Bear Creek, turn left at the blinking light by Cosenza's restaurant. When you come to the t intersection turn right and follow this road until you enter the Lackawanna State Forest. Turn right onto Tannery Road and park by the sign form the Choke Creek Nature Trail. Also keep to the left when you come to the Butler trail sign. I stayed on the same color path(orange) and it took me another 5miles to get out. So follow the red trail on the way it, red is shown to exit out... A very nice hike. Be careful when the path splits at a trail sign for Butler Springs Trail. Stay to the left here, even though the color changes from orange to red. Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
