Summary: The hike begins at the trailhead. There is a sidewalk going for all but the last 3/4 mile of this part of the river walk. Along this sidewalk there are benches to rest on along the hike. Watch out for critters along the river. Trailhead: From the junction of I-10 and Loop 375, go north on I-10 to the Vinton Exit. Turn left (west) on Vinton Road, travel 1.4 miles to Doniphan Drive. The start point is just across the river on the right side.
