Trailhead: reach Trailhead by taking the Oroville-Bucks Lake Rd (Hwy 162). Turn right on Bald Rock Rd. At USFS road 21N33Y turn off to the picnic area/trailhead (Lat:39.64593 Lon:-121.34077)

We went here on a whim with our 4 year old sun. We had a ton of fun just exploring. When the official trail ends, you don't know which way to go. Just choose a direction and you'll get there. Once on the rock, its like another planet. Sooo cool!

Really nice palce to hike for first timers. When you finally get to the spot you feel like your in something like a Landscape Picture Frame. Very awesome sites and views.You can even feel the wind blow in your face.

Awesome hike, varies from easy to difficult dependent on your route. Lots of interesting land formations. DOIT!!!

I have hiked her a number of times and I love the place (so does my dog). The view is awesome!!
