Summary: At the parking lot, cross the bridge and follow the clearly marked trail upstream and along the rivers edge. At about a third of one mile is the very scenic Triple Falls There is a trail that takes you to the middle of the 3 step falls. Extreme caution should be used in this area as well as any other trail near waterfalls in DuPont State Forest. At about the 1 mile mark the trail either continues to follow the river or veers right up the hill. For this hike stay left and continue to follow the river. This trail will bring you to the base of High Falls. Rock-hop across the base of the falls and proceed up the trail to the over-look for nice views. Proceed west and then turn left on the gravel road which crosses the top of the falls under a covered bridge. After a short distance turn left and follow the trail north along a nicely wooded trail until it ends at a large parking area for horse trailers. Cross the highway and take the Holly Trail to Hooker Falls: L to parking.
Trailhead: From Spartanburg, SC take I-26 West towards Hendersonville. Go through downtown Hendersonville (main street) and head west on Kanugua Road. Turn left on Dupont Road and the parking area for Triple Falls is down on the right. (Lat:35.12 Lon:-82.37)

We absolutely loved it. The kids had a blast! We took the first groomed trail off to the left and went to the water. We all climbed up the rocks to the top, took some great family pictures, enjoyed the scenery and then down climbed to the bottom. At the bottome there is a swimming area with a small part of falls that you can slip into and drift with the current. We were able to get a lot of great photo's. There were quite a few humming birds out there flittering from tree to tree. Very enjoyable. Will do again with a picnic and more time to spend there. Great trip for little rock monkeys!

Once you reach the horse trailer parking area (Lake Imaging Parking Area), cross the road and take the Holly trail to the Hooker Falls trail. Turn left; you're at the parking area in just a few feet. This will keep you from having to walk down a section of 55mph highway!
