Summary: From the Pink Beds Parking lot, take the trail east. The start of the trail is clearly marked and the route is easy to follow by the orange markings on trees along the way. The trail criss-crosses the stream frequently on well maintained foot bridges. The 4.5 mile trek is relatively flat and numerous clearings are encountered for wildlife viewing.
Trailhead: From Hendersonville, NC take Hwy 64 West. Just outside Brevard, NC, take Hwy 276 North, past the Ranger Station and Looking Glass Falls. Pink Beds Recreation area and the start of the trail, is on the right just north of the Cradle of Forestry. (Lat:35.2 Lon:-82.46)

Bridges are back up to complete the loop 10/14/12. This is as flat of a mountain hike that I have experienced. At the begining or end of the loop depending on the direction you leave from there is a intresting wet land area with a lot of bridges that I found unigue for hiking in this area (you are nearly to the top of blue ridge). I will take this hike when I have visitors that are not used to mountain hiking as I found the slight elevcation change to make for a nice hike. Not really any views other than the wet land.

Started out nicely but there is a major bridge out making the full loop impossible.
