As I live in Bloom (in fact right above the trail, on West 1st St.) I almost think of this as my backyard and am very fond the trail. It doesn't seem possible this trail is 3.5 miles as I can EASILY walk this in less than an hour. There are ALWAYS people on this trail. Joggers, bicyclists, people walking their dogs, people fishing..very pastoral and calm. Although unfortunately there's a new crop of student housing now on the trail..UGH. I hear lots of birds, not much (seen or heard)other wildlife. One of Bloomsburg special treasures I'd miss if I left the area. I'd lived in Bloomsburg for sevral yrs and didn't even know this trail was here, but I wasn't into hiking at that time. This is a nice easy walk with some pleasant scenery and a good way to get in your 3-4 miles for the day. I live in Berwick now and will walk this trail many more times.
