Beautiful day and got some great pictures. Boulder field is a must-see for everyone! Awsome weather and an awsome trail added up for a great afternoon. Hiked the trail with my dad on a beutiful April weekend, and loved it. It was wet on some portions, but it was no problem. Hiked this trail with my wife and dog on a beautiful sunny November weekend. It was a very nice hike with virtually no one else on the trail...until we reached the boulder field. We didn't realize that there is a connector road that leads to the north end of the boulder field - people galore. It took a little away from theserenity we had hoped for, but would hike the trail again. Lower portion was very wet, so come prepared. Elevation change was slight. Toughest part of trail was that it is a typical Pocono Mountain rocky trail. Wear boots rather than shoes and enjoy! i love it! it was so fun, me and my friends climbed until the end! The ice storm in January 2005 caused a lot of downed trees across this trail. It is still passable, but will take longer than it has in the past.
