Summary: This is a great trail, that could use a little help from the rangers. Parts of the trail are narrow and the decline could use some switchbacks. All in all it is a great three mile hike that is easy to follow because of the blazes. The trail changes from forest to overlook and even has some interesting rocks to explore. Trailhead: The park is along PA 154 and is easily reached from: PA 87 from Williamsport and west; PA 42 from I-80 and south; and PA 87 from Dushore and the north and east. Go in the main park camping area and park in the second car lot. The trail starts there and is blazed blue (Lat:41.47044 Lon:-76.56838) Trail Guides for Canyon Vista: Hiking the Endless Mountains: Exploring the Wilderness of Northeast Pennsylvania by Jeff Mitchell (Stackpole Books) Best Seasons: Fall, Spring, Summer, User Groups: Hikers, Dogs, Ranger Contact: Worlds End State Park PO Box 62 Forksville, PA 18616-0062 570-924-3287 Localhikes Reporter: This hike was submitted by Paul Saneholtz, who has posted 33 other hikes on this site Trail Reviews Submit your own review We did a short hike here and the rock garden was awesome. We really didn't have enough time to explore in depth because we started out too late, but will go back for some "serious" hiking. Very pretty area.
