Hiked this trail today. Winter hiking means no snakes, no ticks, and very few people!! Beautiful trail following the nearly vertical "creek". Lots of new maintenance from the trailhead to the split for the loop. Some of the steep spots were wet and a little slippery, otherwise a nice good walk. Well worth it!!!

Nice trail , stays on the creek for most of the way. I would recommend this one for someone starting out hiking or maybe if you are just trying to break in a new pair of hiking boots.

This was a great little challenging hike for my 6-year old. She and I finished it in 1 hr. 13 minutes, including stops. The first half is steep with lots of FUN stream crossings that kids just love! Then you get to catch your breath the last half of the hike. Very enjoyable.
