Summary: From the trailhead simply follow the trail along the stream as it leads you up to the falls. If the stream isn't flowing at the trailhead it's not likely there will be any falls to see at the end. There are several signs along the way to tell you a little about the area and the falls. Bring a rain jacket if you want to get very close to the falls. Trailhead: From US 550 in Ouray turn East on 8th Avenue and follow it to its end. There is usually plenty of parking here.
