Summary: This trail has a couple of uphill climbs, it is marked, but sometime difficult to follow. There is a scenic overlook of the dam, there are also shut-ins. You will have to cross a creek, use caution in rainy weather. Trailhead: From Fredericktown, Mo. Go S. on hwy 67 Exit at hwy E, (aproximatly 2.5 miles S. of Fredericktown). Go West on E 21 miles Turn left at Crane Lake sign. Go 5 miles until you see another sign, turn left here follow to lake.
