Ditch of Doom!

Highlights:

A long Hike/Bike including a segment along the Ditch of Doom
Near:Oviedo, FL
Scenery:
Distance:8.5 miles round trip
Elevation Gain:50 ft
Hike Time:4.5 hours
Difficulty:Moderate
Trail Condition:Poorly maintained trail
HikeType:Loop

Summary: I explored the area east of the Flagler trail, along the Econ River. I saw some baby gators (about 8 inches long). Then I traveled along a deep ditch/creek thing that I later learned was called the Ditch of Doom.

I found some lost folks along the trail and helped them get back to their car, parked at the Jones trailhead. Then I headed back to the originating trailhead.

Ran into The Boonie Man on my hike, that was cool. His website is:

Trailhead: I was at two trailheads, both off of Snow Hill Road. I started at Flagler Trail South and hiked and biked to Jones trailhead. (Lat:28.666 Lon:-81.111)
