Summary: This is an esay hike on a gravel road on top of the earth-dam at Dorean Lake. The hike ends at a gate for the spill way for the dam. You get a great view of the lake looking east, and of the valley looking west. Trailhead: From I-5 take the Dorena/Cottage Grove exit and head east towards the city of Dorena. About 4 miles out of town, you will come up a hill and there will be a small gravel parking lot on your left (north) at the gate of the dam road. Park here and start your hike at the gate. This tailhead will be after Schwarz's Park, but before Baker Bay Park.
