FMSP - Hitt Canyon Loop Trail (CONTROLLED ENTRY)

Summary: This area is only open by request. Contact FMSP rangers for entry. From the trailhead, start due-west on the road up the hill. At about 1.5 miles you will pass a corrall with a water tank and a windmill. Continue on past the corrall to the top of the hill at about 1.74 miles where the road ends. Look for a trail marker on the single-track trail going north. Follow this trail north. At 2.60 miles enter a washed-out arroyo and turn right (east). At 4.15 miles the arroyr crosses a road. Turn right on the road and continue to the start point.
Trailhead: From the Junction of Loop 375 (Trans Mountain Road) and U.S. Hwy 54 (Patriot Freeway) go north 1.65 miles to the junction of Farm Road 3255 (War Hwy). Turn left on 3255 and go north 4.5 miles to Stan Roberts Road. Turn left and follow the entry directions from the ranger. (Lat:31.9859 Lon:-106.46918)
