We went during the week and only heard one or two snowmobiles. There were many snowmobile tracks however, and weekends must be a noisy nightmare for anyone seeking solitude.

I mountain bike this as part of one of my rides during the late-spring and summer months. I take my 10 year old son on this with his mtn. bike too. No difficulty. Starting from the bottom of Farmington Canyon, you can easily get 17 miles of dirt road in. Winter is very good snowshoeing and GPS caching. This is a hooot!
