Summary: This is a well maintained trail by Geisinger Hospital. There are no mentions on Geisingers Web site but I noticed it one day while driving around Danville. Trailhead: Access this trail off of Powder Mill Road in Danville near Geisinger Hospital and the Life Flight area. There is a small parking area and a trail head sign. Not too steep or rocky. It is basically an exercise hike though, not many views or scenic spots. It is well marked also and ultimately a nice hike if you're local. Enjoy this hike about three times/week. Several places to connect to blue, orange and red hikes for a good 3 hour workout, if wanted. Only nit is the gnats. Summertime, be ready to swat more or less continuously. Thanks Geisinger. Very disappointed in this trail; also it is more or less straight up from trailhead entry. Trail had many wash-outs and loose rocks. If you don't have a hiking stick (I did) or if your sciatic is acting up, try another trail! Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
