Easy Hike. Poor planning on my part, thought the sun would burn off the fog...didn't happen. Get an early start, or you're riding the schuttle...Bear Lake Parking fills up fast. The views in the Fall are fantastic. I would recomend it too anyone who loves the heights and scenery. There are also three more peaks you can bag if you have the time. Beautiful scenery all along the way to Flattop Mountain. The views from Hallets peak is only second to Longs peak in the Rocky Mountain National park. Absolutely amazing views!! It is awesome to look out into the Rockies once past the treeline. You have to see for yourself...words really can't explain how cool it really is!
