Summary: This is a very easy walk around Harper Lake. The area is a wildlife refuge, so you might see some animals or birds. You can start either way and loop around back to the start. Trailhead: Go to Louisville. From S. Boulder Rd, turn south on McCaslin Blvd. Travel about 0.6 mi and then turn east on Washington Ave. Parking is right there on the corner. Reviewed by JB on 4/16/2008 This lake has gorgeous views and allows fishing. It was a great place for me to train for my half marathon because it was almost one mile around and easy to count my laps. Across the street from the lake is a ton of Open Space and a dog park, no dogs allowed at the lake though! Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
