Summary: This paved rail-trail runs up the eastern edge of the Little Beaver Creek. The canopy of trees keeps the trail cool in the summer but can also keep snow and ice from thawing into spring. One of the more interesting features is period grafity, apparently carved in the rock by people who worked on the railroad nearly a century ago. Ultimately, the Little Beaver Creek trail will be part of the Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway, extending 100 miles along this abandoned rail corridor from East Liverpool on the Ohio river to Lake Erie near Ashtabula. Trailhead: The website notes that there is parking in Lisbon where Lincoln Avenue (Rt 30) crosses the Little Beaver Creek. I happened not to park at this location but further up Logtown Road. There is another lot even further up past Logtown and another near the covered bridge on Eagleton Road at Teagarden.
