Summary: Most every one who reads this web site loves a good hike and everyone who loves a good hike loves a nice waterfall. That is exactly what you will find at the end of this hike a Very nice water fall.
In an area known as Little valley, about half way between Centerville and Farmington and about 2.5 miles above the main road is a nice little water fall that few people have ever seen. Here Davis creek cascades around 20-30 feet. on its way down the valley. Along this trail you will also enjoy wild flowers and tree cover that is not common to other trails here in Utah There are some nice little camp and picnic spots to enjoy along the way also.

Trailhead: There are a couple different ways to approach this hike. If you have a kind face you can ask the farmer who lives at the end of Little Valley road. He is very nice and will open the gate for you. But please do not trespass with out asking. Or you can access the fire break road from near the end of rolling hills drive. If you have a high clearance four wheel drive you can cut your hike time and distance by about one third. However It is NOT legal to drive East of the fire break road so please respect these laws. This hike was amazing and lots of fun to explore. We went in early summer and the forrest was beautiful! All of the waterfalls and cascades were running strong but the final waterfall was especially spectacular. There is also a cool rock outcrop near the end with a really awesome cave on a short hidden path. This hike is very steep with just a small trail but the scenery and forestry are great to be in. NOTE: Horses are actually not allowed.

This is definitely a strenuous hike with poorly marked signs which make it easy to deviate from the trail. The 4 waterfalls absolutely make it worth every step though, especially the last one. The first waterfall is not accesible but the last three are. Keep your eyes open for small trails with rope leading down to waterfalls...it can be steep.

To find the trailhead for this hike, travel up 500 south (just north of the graveyeard). The road curves and starts heading due south. Shortly after the road turns to gravel, a large water tank is visible on the right side. This is a good place to park. A little further up on the left side of the road is a trailhead sign. There is a total of 4 waterfalls on this hike. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to reach the 4th.
