The hiking was nice but it was hard having to dodge the bike riders who didn't seem to yield to the hikers. Otherwise it was beautiful

My first hike this year on me and my girlfriends hike-a-week tour. Really cool hike. We made our way up to Century Lake where we saw a few climbers make there way into the canyon below the falls. We kept on down the trail after a snack, and proceeded across a gorgeous meadow with stone walls. Just past the Forest Trail we enjoyed a heavily shaded path for a while before the sun started to set. Looking forward to exploring more of this park.

Thanks for the info on this lovely trail. Hiked from 4 p.m. till 5:30, no entrance fee and wonderful cool weather. Loved the serene silence and occasional sound of the creek. Will surely come back and explore. Cool Hindu temple right by exit heading West.

Spent 2 nights in the campground with my family. Very nice!! The campgrounds are clean and the sites have enough room to spread out in. We saw lots of deer(my 4 year old really liked that)and the hiking was great. We will definitely go back for more camping and hiking. Only thing I would suggest is a better trail map. The one posted in the campground is kind of hard to read.

$10/car parking, pretty steep for a CA state park. Just there with relatives day after Thanksgiving. Nice weather and super easy hike from the parking lot, past the MASH location, and back. Maybe 5 miles. Difficulty a 2 out of 10.
