Summary: The section of the Mountour Trail from Imperial South is an unchararasticly steep climb for a rail-trail. Steep is perhaps an overstatement for something that doesn't exceed an 8% grade but it is a noticibly steady climb into strip mine territory. Thankfully, the mines of this area have been pretty well reclaimed. Trailhead: To access the trail at the Enlow Ball Park (N40 27.374 W80 13.886), take Route 60 west, passing the Montour Run and Business Route 60 exits to McClaren Road exit. Follow McClaren Road south about one mile. Trail parking is on the left at the ballfield before the 5-way intersection. Enlow has a water fountain and porta-johns. To park at Boggs (N40 26.087 W80 17.381), take US Route 22 west to Route 980 exit. Turn left (north) on Potato Garden Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Boggs Road. Trailhead and parking are 100 yards on the right. There is also parking at the Findley Township Activity Center in Imperial.
