Summary: The hike will take you through the beautiful Upper Valley in El Paso, Texas. You will pass farm fields, ranchland, and private housing along the trail. You will also cross several roads along the way. Trailhead: From the junction of I-10 and US-54, proceed west on I-10 to the Sunland Park Drive exit (13). Turn left on Sunland Park Drive. Proceed downhill, through two traffic lights, cross Doniphan Drive, and turn left into the State Line Resturant parking lot. The hike starts across Sunland Park Drive at the canal. Its a beautiful hike. Please exercise caution when crossing the heavily traveled Country Club Road. There are lots of photos of this hike on www.elpasoridgewalkers.com This trail reminds me of those hot summer marathons since I used it a lot for training. Still, my running buddies like that place.
