Summary: This hike is located on Beaumont Scout Reservation, so you must be a registered scout to access this trail. However, it is one of the highlights every time we visit this camp. The trail is very well maintained, and Mud Cave is a cool 54 degrees year round. It is not very big, but the trip inside is well worth the hike.
Trailhead: From St. Louis, Take I-44 to the Antire Rd exit. Turn south and follow the road to the entrance of the Beaumont Scout Reservation. This is on Boy Scout property, so you must be a registered scout or leader to access this hike. (Lat:38.50137 Lon:-90.5343)
