Summary: From the parking lot area, cross the bridge and take the immediate trail on your right. This gravel path is a public easement trail through the Diamond A ranch land. You will travel .6 miles along the edge of a pasture, then take a left on a gravel road. Stay on the road heading west for .7 miles, until it dead-ends at the trail head. Take the 1 mile single track trail to the summit. The distance is 2.3 miles, one way, with an evelation gain of about 600 feet. Trailhead: Travel west from exit 228 off of I-5 on HYW 34 the Corvallis/Lebanon HYW at 9.7 miles at the light take HYW 34 west toward the Philomath/Oregon Coast. At the intersection of HYW 34 west and SW 53rd St. turn north on to 53rd. drive to the intersection of SW 53rd. Dr. and Oak Creek Dr. turn west on Oak Creek Dr. and procede to the Bald Hill Trail parkink lot.
