My fiance and I are new to the area, and this is the first State Park we've explored. Very nice! Helpful, courteous staff in the camp store; well-maintained trails; the expansive river vista at the far end of the park is well worth the walk. The flat trails would be ideal for trail running.

The report submitted by Mark M gave me the idea of going here with my 20 month old son. I put him in a child carrier (for hiking) and my wife carried a regular backpack and off we went. Went on Otter Point Trail Loop and Molly Mitchell trail. It was really nice and relaxing. I plan to go back and do the Indian Creek Trail next time. This is a great local day hiking area. I plan to return soon. Probably good for little ones as well.
