Long easy trail great for Mt bikers or Horseback riders
Near:Klamath Falls, OR
Distance:30 miles round trip
Elevation Gain:600 ft
Hike Time:12.5 hours
Trail Condition:Well maintained trail
HikeType:Out and Back

Summary: This trail is best for Horseback riders or Mt bikers as it is long and the scenery is few and far between, spaced by relatively mundane Forestry and high desert. The best areas are the devils garden area, just off the Switchback trailhead south of the town of sprague river, and the fivemile creek area north of Bly. Hikers can acess strategic trailheads to see some of the more interesting sights but thru hiking is not recommended except as a practice or warmup for the longer Pacific Crest or Fremont Trails nearby.
Trailhead: There are several trailheads acessing this trail. The main trailhead is in the small town of Olene 9 miles east of Klamath Falls on hwy 140. a second trailhead that acesses the interesting devils gardes area is 7 miles south of Sprague River on Squaw Flat rd. (Lat:42.58964 Lon:-121.1135)
