Raven Rock is less of a hike and more of a Nature Walk. The trail was mild with very little ascent. The "summit" was only OK. High tension power lines are less than ideal. TrailKiller would recommend this walk simply as an excuse to get outside for an hour or so.

Wonderful hike, the view in the pictures on the web site, doesn't do it justice, very scary for those who vertigo. Two warnings: in the winter the road to the trail wasn't open, so the hike becomes 6 miles roundtrip, mostly on a very pleasant round, without cars. Second: if you have your dog off lead like me, lease it as you begin assent to overlook, very easy for a rambunctious dog to go flying off cliff.
