It took my wife and I about 6 hours with a lunch break. There are a couple of things we learned. First, Sunrise Mt. Road is a a one-way loop through the park. Second, the junction between the green trail and the white AT is before the fire tower. If you get to the tower, turn around and head back to find the turn. But do head up to the tower for a nice view. Third, Sunrise Mountain has a great view, but its really crowded on a nice day since its next to a parking lot. If you want a more secluded lookout, keep going onto the brown/red trail and you'll find a good one in less than 15 min. Third, when you reach the barns, take the brown trail between the barns SE. It'a absolutely beautiful! Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous. You are responsible for informing yourself about these hazards and taking necessary precautions.
