Summary: This hike and be started from any part along the route, but I like to start at 29th and Roosevelt Drive. From here head west up Roosevelt hill, then left on Elmwood, then a right on Dogwood which comes down the hill to Circle Blvd. Take a right on Circle and head up your second hill which tops out on Witham Hill Drive. Cross over Witham Hill Drive and head down Circle till it ends at a paved bike path. Follow the path till it ends at Harrison Blvd. Take a left and follow the sidewall to 36th Street. Take a left and head up 36th till it ends at Grant then take a left and start up your 3rd hill on Witham Hill Drive (again). Take a right on Circle and go back down the hill till you hit 29th Street. Take a left and go up the small 29th "bump" and back to your starting point. Trailhead: This hike and be started from any part along the route. From I-5 or HWY 99 follow the signs to Corvallis, OR. As you enter Corvallis, stay on Harrison street heading west then take a right on 29th street. Follow 29th until you take a left on Roosevelt Drive and park, this is your starting point. When my family moved to Corvallis in 1966, we moved into the second house on the right on Roosevelt Street. This is in memory of those days when these four hills were the ones your remembered when riding your bike. This is also a great winter hike when the trails are muddy but you want a workout. You'll get some great views, see some nice homes, and pass at least one cemetery.
