A lot of muddy, swampy areas that couldn't be avoided. Lots of very slippery rocks, almost lost our boots a few times, and came home covered in mud. Don't hike this trail within 2 days of rain!

Nice winter hike, the terrain is not too tough even with a couple inches of snow.
