Parts of Rabbit Creek Trail are actually part of the creek bed. Saw lots of deer tracks and what looked like some type of canine scat. Currently (March 2005), there are stream crossings between campgrounds 16 and 15, at the Abrams Falls parking lot (bridge is washed out), and again at Abrams Creek to get back to Hannah Mountain Trail. Abrams Creek has some deep spots and a fairly strong current in some places. Would be best to cross in summer when it's warm and getting wet wouldn't be a problem. About mid way on Hannah Creek Trail there was significant wind fall, six or seven trees in a domino effect, covering a wide part of the trail. It took me a good 10 to 15 minutes to climb through and over.
