Summary: This trail is a fairly easy hike around Dock Lake in Chain-O-Lakes State Park. There is very little steep terrain, but there are some small hills to walk up. The trail brings you over two bridges over channels first between Dock Lake and Bowen Lake, and later Dock Lake and Long Lake.
For the most part, the trail takes you through deciduous forest, with a smaller area of pine forest.
The trail is in excelent condition, but can be very muddy after a large rain, or during a period of melting snow.
Trailhead: The trailhead is directly to the west of the fish cleaning station outside the main campgrounds. It is clearly marked as trail 1. Look at the attached picture for further reference. (Lat:41.33132 Lon:-85.37285)
