This trail is great for an easy afternoon trip that is close to Boulder. Marshal lake is nearby and it offers some nice views. Hiked the area and then read up on it a bit... DIDNT know about the hazardous waste in the area and the fact louisville drinks the water flowing from it! http://www.cdphe.state.co.us/hm/rpmarshall.asp#Environmental%20Concerns
