Summary: This is a nice, simple walk through the middle of downtown Fort Wayne. You get to see many very nice old buildings along the way, many of them Fort Wayne land marks. The plates along the way are very informative, and will give you an excellent history lesson. The complete collection of photos that I took on this trip can be accessed online at: http://www.jamesarnold.org/localhikes/historic1.html Trailhead: This trail starts in Freimann Square at the large statue of Anthony Wayne. This statue is located on the corner of Main and Clinton. At the location, there is also a plate that shows a map of the trail.
