we hiked this as a family, with an eight-year-old and it was gorgeous, and just difficult enough but not too difficult. The only thing to make this better would have been some water - springs, rivers, something

My wife and I hiked this several times when we lived in Huntsville. The trail is overgrown in the summer and alive with bikers, hikers and trail runners. Some of the best views of the city of Huntsville that you will find.

I liked this park and the cabins. I spent several days at one of the cabins and thought the park staff were very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to getting back there someday again. Russ
