Summary: This is a personal favorite, you will walk along a stream through a beautiful forest then towards the end enter some rocky areas. The Hickory Run State Park has a National Natural Landmark in the boulder field and there are some Geocaches in the park
Trailhead: From I-80, take Exit 274 at the Hickory Run State Park Exit, and drive east on PA 534 for six miles. From the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Exit 95 and drive west on PA 940 for three miles then turn east on PA 534 for six miles. The park is within a two or three-hour drive from Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and New York City and one hour from Allentown, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. The trail starts at the park office.

not much to see here except a semi cool waterfall and if your an avid hiker i wouldnt suggest this.... if you have a few small kids that will be wowed by a small waterfall then this is the place for you..... Death Trail though ? lol there is a hill but thats about as bad as it gets

I wouldn't consider this hike difficult, but it had some rocks and a few hills. The kids liked it. It was short enough to fit in a couple other trails during the day.

One of the prettiest trails I have ever hiked. Very rocky, and with a few steep sections.

Hickory Run State Park maps mark the trail as difficult very intresting and scenic trail. Yellow trail markers, not always well marked
