- A rugged loop on the Northern section of the Gerard Trail (11 miles)

- Vista with stone tower ruins, wild blueberries, reliable water sources.
- Pine Grove Furnace to Toms Run
- Nice little out and back hike along a portion of the AT
- Shikellamy Overlook
- A simple walk in a small state park, nice view

- Pleasant, easy loop trail passing through woodlands and wetlands

- 12,000 year old Glen with numerous waterfalls and scenic views
- West Penn Trail-Avonmore to Saltsburg
- Rail trail west from Saltsburg needs a lot of work (5 miles).
- West Penn Trail-Conemaugh Reservoir
- Rail trail, four bridges and expansive wetlands. (5 miles)
- West Penn Trail-Saltsburg to Conemaugh Dam
- Trail along the PA Mainline Canal and through SGL 328. (6 miles)
- West Rim Trail - PA Grand Canyon
- A beatiful 27 mile hike with some great views of the PA Grand Canyon
