Summary: From the parking lot look for the access gate blocking motorized traffic access to the old road along the creek. This road is what you will follow for the entire hike. It narrows down to a single track after a short ways. It will follow the creek for the length of the hike. If you are up for the full trek to the falls it is a long hike, but you can simply hike as far as you please then enjoy the downhill trip on your way out. Trailhead: In the Glenwood Canyon on I-70 take exit 121. This exit takes you nowhere except to give access to the river and to Grizzly Creek trail. The parking area for Grizzly Creek trail is on the North side of the Interstate. Look for a short road that will take you to this lot. The rest of the parking is generally crowded by those playing in the river. Just when I thought I would never hike this Trail again it started to get more challenging which I like. I too have not found where to cross the river to hike over to No Name.Over all very enjoyable! I will be back soon.. Been visiting Grizzl Creek since 1968; mostly as a fisherman. Can't begin to tell how many fish I've caught and released. Both of my children were introduced to this delightful spot as toddlers and now my granddaughter now loves both the creek and the river. In the later part of April through the month of May the air is filled with the aroma of herbs. I don't know what they are, but it is one of the prime reasons to visit. Make sure you are on the trail before sunrise; you'll miss the crowds and you just might spy some Rocky Mountain sheep or deer. Nice hike... the brouchure that you get in the downtown says you can cross the river and join another trail back to No Name. However, we could not find any spot for crossing the river to join any trail on the other side Great hike--the reason I rate it 3 stars is because there is supposed to be a lake at the end. My girlfriend and I hiked for a while, and it just kept on going--we didn't know how much farther it would be, so we turned around...it was only 400 yards or so more! Whoops! There is a jeep trail at the end, which was hard on the feet and the eyes, but the hike is great. Bear caves on one section... Beautiful views and challenging parts if you take the creek path, not the cliff path. Anyway, great hike! Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
