After a few hundred yards of uphill hiking, it levels off and to the right of you it opens up just enough to view boggy areas where there is excellent moose viewing. As you push on, the trail comes to an opening, the first lake, Fish hook Lake. This a beautiful, oblong shape lake w/nice meadows surrounding it. Continue on trail # 1101 along the east side of the lake. about 100 yards up you enter back into the forest and about .3 mile up is the end. Lost Lake!
